This group takes place on a Tuesday Morning and is tutored by Sadie; a tutor from Anniesland College who has been attending the centre for many years. This group is a very popular choice on the programme as service users thoroughly enjoy it. Different projects are carried out through the duration of the group, i.e. tapestry, making tissue boxes, through to making cushions and quilts. This group is also a popular choice with the male service users who enjoy making different things for their grandchildren. This group is beneficial to service users as it helps concentration skills, eye to hand co-ordination and is also very therapeutic. There is also good social interaction with the user group within this activity, as the group enjoy chatting to Sadie and their fellow peers. Benefits
