This group has been a popular choice with the user group for many years as they enjoy discussing and having opinions on current issues, stories or what's in the news and media.
Staff encourages service users to bring in newspaper articles or anything they would like to discuss. This group provides good communication, memory, confidence, knowledge and social skills. This group also boosts self esteem.
This is a small group and gives service users the opportunity to talk openly and widely about any issues or problems they have been experiencing out-with the centre. There is an agreement on confidentiality as per policy before the 12 weeks timetable begins, ensuring service users feel free to discuss openly any issues concerning them without fear of recrimination.
